Prof. Dr. Serap Uysal

Professor of pediatric neurology; after training at Hacettepe and Ankara University, she combines academic experience with family-centered care at her Nişantaşı practice since 2005.

Prof. Dr. Serap Uysal completed pediatrics residency at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (1985–1989) and pediatric neurology subspecialty at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine (1996–1998). She became associate professor in 1993 and full professor in 2000. Her academic career includes faculty positions at Ondokuz Mayıs, Maltepe, and Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, where she served as head of the Division of Pediatric Neurology. Since 2005 she has seen patients at her Nişantaşı practice for pediatric neurology and EEG, and works as consultant pediatric neurologist at the V.K.V. American Hospital Pediatrics Clinic.

Clinical focus
